Each summer associate is assigned a mentor, who provides assistance with time management issues, administrative procedures and various day-to-day concerns. The mentor is charged with making sure that the summer associate receives timely and constructive feedback on his or her work, setting the stage for a truly productive and rewarding summer experience. Our goal is to create an environment in which summer associates can apply many of the skills and concepts they've learned about in law school and also get a feel for life as a lawyer.
All summer associates participate in our in-house training program, "Bonne Boot Camp". This structured program includes internal seminars reviewing the firm's many practice areas, guidance on legal research and legal writing, as well as more intensive group-specific training.
