Stanton graduated from San Diego State University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy. He was named to the Dean's List and graduated with Cum Laude honors. While earning his undergraduate degree, he also worked as a San Diego County Paramedic in a variety of healthcare settings, including pre-hospital emergency scenes, emergency rooms, and an international corporation conducting phase-one pharmaceutical research.
In 2011, Stanton earned his Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, California. He was named to the Dean's List, inducted into the Order of the Coif, and graduated with Cum Laude honors. While in law school, he served as Secretary and Treasurer of the Health Law Society and was published in the Journal of Biolaw and Business. He also completed an externship with the Honorable Kathleen Mulligan, Federal Administrative Judge of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
Stanton was admitted to the California bar in December 2011. He is licensed to practice before all courts of the state of California, as well as the United States District Courts, Central District and Southern District of California.
