Sara Hersh is an associate at the Los Angeles office of Bonne, Bridges, Mueller, O'Keefe & Nichols. Ms. Hersh graduated Tufts University with honors and after practicing in various states as an occupational therapist, entered and completed California Western School of Law.
Ms. Hersh's practice focuses on the representation of physicians, physician organizations, and other healthcare providers in civil litigation. Her experience and expertise is in healthcare litigation, medical staff issues, peer review, disciplinary and licensing matters. Although she continues to defend professionals in malpractice cases, Ms. Hersh now devotes most of her practice to the representation of physicians and allied health professionals in proceedings before state licensing agencies, and in peer review and disciplinary actions before hospitals, medical organizations and medical staffs. She also represents medical professionals in matters relating to employment termination. Ms. Hersh has successfully represented physicians, healthcare clients and insurers in numerous trials and binding arbitrations and on appeal.
Ms. Hersh is a member of the California Academy of Attorneys for Health Care Professionals and is a member of the Healthcare Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
