After graduating with her Masters, Ms. Wurscher worked for a large teaching and research hospital in the field of employee relations, assisting with the investigation and resolution of sexual harassment and hostile work environment complaints, violence in the workplace complaints, and involuntary termination of employees.
Ms. Wurscher earned her law degree from Chapman University School of Law in Orange, California. During her studies she served as a staff writer on the Nexus Journal of Opinion and as president of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Board. In addition, her two person team was a finalist in the California State Bar Environmental Law Section's negotiation competition, placing third in the state.
During law school, Ms. Wurscher also had the opportunity to work for the General Counsel of a large hospital, where she gained experience with contract auditing, IRB investigation, wage and hour class-action litigation, and general employment defense litigation.
Ms. Wurscher is licensed to practice law in the California state courts, the U.S. Central District Court, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. As a Seattle native, Ms. Wurscher appreciates the opportunities the warm Southern California climate gives for her favorite pastimes of running, surfing, and golf.
