Laura Lucero is an Associate in the Las Vegas office of Bonne, Bridges, Mueller, O'Keefe & Nichols. She joined Bonne Bridges as a Summer Associate in 2002 and returned as an Associate after passing the July 2003 California bar exam. In February 2004, Ms. Lucero passed the Nevada bar exam. Ms. Lucero specializes in representing physicians and other health care providers in medical negligence claims, as well as in a variety of other contexts.

As an Associate with the firm, Ms. Lucero maintains a litigation practice, primarily in the defense of medical malpractice, elder abuse and general liability cases. Ms. Lucero is involved in all aspects of the litigation process, including evaluating cases, drafting pleadings, preparing and arguing various motions and taking and defending depositions of clients, parties, and experts. Ms. Lucero has successfully argued several motions for summary judgment and motions to dismiss. She has also negotiated dismissals and favorable settlements on behalf of her clients.

Ms. Lucero graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science. Following graduation, Ms. Lucero worked as a veterinary technician at a specialty animal hospital where she oversaw and coordinated a clinical study for the FDA approval of a new veterinary pharmaceutical.

In 2003, Ms. Lucero received her Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law. While at USD, she was a member of the Pro Bono Legal Advocates and participated in Moot Court competitions and Civil Clinic. After completing her first year of law school, Ms. Lucero served as extern law clerk to the Honorable Donald M. Mosley of the Eighth Judicial District Court of Clark County, Nevada.

Ms. Lucero is licensed to practice before all courts of the states of Nevada and California, as well as the United States District Court, Central District of California and District of Nevada. She is also a member of the Clark County Bar Association, Los Angeles County Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
