Bruce Bonne


Bruce Bonne founded Bonne, Bridges, Mueller, O'Keefe & Nichols in October of 1961. Mr. Bonne completed a Bachelor of Art History and Secondary Education at Augustana College located in Rock Island, Illinois, in 1951. After college, he entered the United States Army where he served in Korea from 1951 to 1953. Mr. Bonne was accepted in to the University of California at Los Angeles School of Law directly after his honourable discharge from the army. While attending UCLA School of Law, Mr. Bonne participated in Law Review and ultimately received his law degree in 1956.

In 1957, Mr. Bonne became a member of the California State Bar and was admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Central District of California. He also became a member of the Southern California Defense Counsel and the American Board of Trial Advocates.

In addition to his active trial and appellate practice, Mr. Bonne has served many times as an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association. He has also served as a Voluntary Settlement Conference Officer for the Los Angeles Superior Courts.

Although presently retired from active trial practice, Mr. Bonne continues to serve the firm on an "of counsel" basis. He is available to the firm and its clients for special or specific assignments.
